Platonic Solids

Platonic solids (regular polyhedra) are fascinating three-dimensional shapes with interesting properties. These unique shapes have captured the interest of mathematicians for centuries. They are named after the Greek philosopher Plato, who associated them with the classical elements of nature.

During the workshop, we will discuss what regular polygons are and what we know about their angles. We will try constructing the ones that can be made with a compass and a straightedge. We will also dive into the world of Platonic solids, and at the end of the workshop, you will even have the opportunity to build your own.
