The Language of Computers
In binary, numbers are represented using only two digits: 0 and 1. Simple in form, it is the foundation of almost all modern computing. Every smartphone, laptop, calculator, and digital device relies on binary to store and process information.
In this hands-on workshop, participants will explore the fascinating world of binary numbers. Using only two digits, 0 and 1, we will learn how to represent numbers in a completely different way and crack the code for converting between our everyday decimal system and binary. Participants will use binary to discover clever winning strategies in games, solve puzzles, and even perform a surprising mind-reading trick. Along the way, we'll play, experiment, and create hands-on projects that bring binary to life!
