Thinking in Binary

In binary, numbers are represented using only two digits: 0 and 1. Simple in form, it is the foundation of almost all modern computing. Every smartphone, laptop, calculator, and digital device relies on binary to store and process information.

This workshop introduces participants to the fascinating world of binary numbers. In a playful way, participants will learn to convert numbers between our standard (decimal) system and binary. We will discover how letters and symbols are represented digitally using binary code, collaborate on engaging puzzles, and create craft projects that make the binary system tangible and memorable.
